Tensions are high, and all eyes are on the November elections. What will the results mean for our nation? It is a critical time in history for both America and our world.

While leaders determine a nation’s course, God is sovereign and can be trusted. Let’s humbly seek His Presence and His intervention on behalf of America. In a posture of unity, let’s agree that He is the only one who can turn the tide in our nation.

Our battle is not against flesh and blood but principalities, powers, and spiritual wickedness in high places, and the battle belongs to the Lord. He has permitted us to come boldly to His throne for mercy and grace in our time of need; this is a time of great need. Intercessors must lift our voices with one heart and mind and stand in the gap for America.

Day 7: Pray about Transgenderism and the LGBTQ Agenda

So, God created man in his own image; in the image of God, he created him; male and female, he created them. (Genesis 1:27 ESV)

At the root of the gender issues we are seeing in our nation is a lack of identity. These children who identify as whatever they desire have a God-shaped void in their hearts. They don’t know Father God’s unconditional love or that they were created in His image with a plan and purpose. Somewhere along the line, they believed the lie that they are unacceptable.

We know that comes from the father of lies, Satan. Though it looks like we are losing this battle, a growing number of former transgender people are bravely opposing this evil trend. Lord, You can do anything, so we intercede for our sons and daughters. We will never stop fighting for them.

• Ask God to show you His heart for the transgender community and pray for any specific individuals you know who are caught up in this awful deception and perversion.
• Pray for their hearts to be healed and a fresh revelation of sonship and purpose (see Ephesians 2:10).
• Pray for members of the LGBTQ community to repent and turn to Jesus Christ. God can use people who have come out of this lifestyle and create Gospel preachers to win others in that community (Romans 8:28).
