Presidential candidate Donald J. Trump announced today that he would begin driving his own tour bus for the final leg of his campaign, sources have confirmed. 

“I was getting ready to drive us from Florida to Pennsylvania for some appearances and Don said he wouldn’t be needing my services for this last leg,” said former Trump driver Matt Baker. “He asked me for the keys and said he could take it from here. Said it was nothing I did wrong, he just wanted to drive the big son of a bitch for a while, and that he thought he could do a good job.” 

While no one is sure if the move is an attempt to gain credibility with middle-class Americans, or if Trump just really wanted to drive the truck, both scenarios have come true. 

“I couldn’t believe it when I saw it,” said Josh Thorpe, who was recently driving North on I-75 when he saw Trump driving beside him. “He was swerving around lanes, hooting and hollering. I made the gesture to him to honk his horn and he let it rip and started laughing his ass off. Then he floored it and must have been going 110 miles an hour. He’s got my vote, I’ll tell you that much.” 

As of press time, the Trump-steered bus arrived at his latest event, running over several cars like a monster truck in the process.
