The headline said it.  I’m not overpromising on this one.  The new Pro-Kamala ad that just dropped is probably going to have the SNL writers WISHING they’d thought of it first!

Let’s get right to it — I give you the most ultimate cringe-worthy political ad you have ever seen, and possibly will ever see again:

And the roasting has begun.  Social media is ABLAZE with how completely cringe this thing is.  I mean… are you PRETENDING to know what a man is like?  Or are you simply just trying to make fun of YOURSELF???

And if you thought this was satire (as I did at first!!!), this is not the Babylon Bee.  This is not an SNL skit.  This truly is an attempt to make Kamala Harris a viable candidate for MEN.

One of the best things about this ad is the VIRAL REACTION video uploaded by Tyrone Magnus!  If you don’t watch a single thing in this story — trust me… you’ll want to watch Tyrone Magnus react!

I’ll give away his immediate reaction — “This is real???”  However much I thought the elitist left was out of touch before… this ad just proves to me I was WAY underestimating their out-of-touchness with real life!

I don’t know what’s worse — the fact that they don’t even come close to knowing what a REAL MAN IS LIKE, or the fact that nobody apparently stood up on the project and said, “Um, guys??? Maybe we’re not exactly catching the right vibe, here.”

No one?  Not a single person on this project recognized how cringe the final product was going to be???

But, don’t worry.  Where the production team failed… social media came to the rescue:

In researching this story, I stumbled across this jewel of a post.  Check out what “Bad Hombre” brought to the table in terms of background info.  I’ll post the entire text of his inside scoop below for easier reading:

As many of you know, Jimmy Kimmel’s writer, Jacob Reed, directed an ad for the Kamala Harris campaign titled ‘Men for Kamala.’ The ad features what are presented as everyday male voters explaining why supporting Kamala Harris is the masculine thing to do. However, none of the men in the ad are actually regular voters—they are paid actors.

Moreover, their real-life circumstances differ significantly from the individuals they portray in the ad. Here are their stories:

– Wayland McQueen is a far-left, pro-Antifa comedian and actor who has, until now, found limited success. He does improv gigs at the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles. In a Twitter post from 2022, he explains what white privilege is and tells you why you need to acknowledge your white privilege. As of 2024 he is single.

– Lanre Idewu is an immigrant from Nigeria. He is also an actor who works at the D.C.-based OCTET Productions. He has many intimate pictures with the Obamas and the Bidens. Idewu, who is bisexual, has done gay-for-pay movies and nude solo shoots. In the “Men for Kamala” ad, he says he is “man enough to f-ing braid his daughter’s hair,” but the only problem is that he doesn’t have a daughter. Idewu isn’t braiding anyone’s hair.

– Mike Leffingwell, a gay man, also works at the Upright Citizens Brigade, where McQueen works. He is an acting coach, cartoon writer for Netflix and DreamWorks, and an actor in TV commercials. On his public Instagram page, he showcases his participation in his latest project—the “Men for Kamala” ad.

– Winston Carter, the heavyset fellow in the ad who claims to be a mechanic and rancher, lives in Los Angeles signed with Taft Broadcasting Company. He has found limited success in the acting world, mainly as an extra in films and as a character in the low-budget superhero film Spaghettiman.

– Tony Ketcham, the tough, rugged, bearded grandpa in his garage in the “Men for Kamala” ad, is also an actor. He now mainly does low-budget independent films like Car Botz, where he played the role of PePaw. Tony is unmarried in real life. In 2001, he played the extra role of “alcoholic consumer” in the movie Ghost World.

In a nutshell, they chose a bunch of people who are completely the opposite of a REGULAR MAN in real life to play “men” in this ad.  In fact, that’s not even accurate!  They chose a bunch of people who HATE and PUSH AGAINST what it means to actually be a man — and tried to PRETEND it’s the same thing… just by adding in a little attitude?

I hate to break it to the production team, but that “attitude” you layered on to try to paint your feminine cast as “many”… was itself the epitome of TOXIC feminine attitude!  (Please direct my hate mail to… whatever – save it for someone who cares.)

How much easier would it have been to grab 3-5 real guys and just… avoid so much cringe?  So much easier.  SO much less cringe.  Alas… they did not.

Fox News couldn’t resist running a story on it.  Here’s what they had to say:

A new grassroots campaign ad went viral on Friday for attempting to argue that voting for Vice President Kamala Harris is the more manly choice this presidential election.

The ad featured actors portraying men who cite their masculine credentials, ranging from men boasting they are “man enough” to do various stereotypically male activities, to more humorous boasts like eating “carburetors for breakfast” or not being “afraid of bears,” eventually resolving with the men declaring their support for liberal women’s political causes and for the Harris campaign.

The ad, which did not come from the Harris-Walz campaign, struck many online commentators as a prime example of why Harris is struggling to appeal to men.

Senior policy analyst at Independent Women’s Forum Inez Stepman marveled at the video one X user dubbed “the cringiest political ad ever created” and replied, “This can’t be real.”

The entire remaining Fox News story was burn after burn, as they highlighted the various one-line zingers emanating from social media as a result of this magnificently unmanly “man” ad.

But here’s a few they forgot to include…

For a political movement that keeps saying it wants to “normalize” the entire lgbtq (and sometimes “y”) lifestyle… they sure are good at doing the opposite.  Normal??? No ma’am.  Not even a little.

The New York Post also jumped in to this dogpile:

The clip features a slew of apparent farmers, car enthusiasts and gym junkies boasting about their masculinity as they repeatedly insist, “I’m a man” and “I’m man enough.”

The script then takes a hard feminist turn as the presumed actors — most of whom were filmed doing outdoor activities or perched on trucks — start rattling off ways they aren’t afraid to support women.

Ridicule of the ad was swift and spread like wildfire — with many openly questioning whether it was satire engineered by supporters of Republican nominee Donald Trump.

One thing is for sure; Saturday Night Live is going to have it’s work cut out for it now.  Either that… or they’ve just been handed a blueprint for comedic success!

They may have even succeeded in cornering the market on the soy-boy voter base with this ad; but I can promise, as a man… they didn’t do themselves any favors in that department.
