Most of the interviews Kamala Harris has faced during her recent media blitz have been particularly friendly, but when she decided to sit down for a “60 Minutes” segment she was pressed on some pretty substantial issues.

While the responses that aired did not cast Harris in a positive light, some evidence indicates that it could have been much worse. For television broadcast, CBS aired an edited version of her rambling answer to a question but for some reason the original version was released online.

The Trump campaign released an initial statement decrying the network’s actions, as Fox News reported:

It is unclear why CBS aired two different answers to the same question. However, CBS has posted both clips on YouTube. CBS News did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Trump campaign called for CBS to release the full interview unedited on Tuesday.

“On Sunday, 60 Minutes teased Kamala’s highly-anticipated sit-down interview with one of her worst word salads to date, which received significant criticism on social media. During the full interview on Monday evening, the word salad was deceptively edited to lessen Kamala’s idiotic response,” Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt said. “Why did 60 Minutes choose not to air Kamala’s full word salad, and what else did they choose not to air? The American people deserve the full, unedited transcript from Kamala’s sit-down interview. We call upon 60 Minutes and CBS to release it. What do they, and Kamala, have to hide?”

Social media users were quick to share their thoughts about the network’s behavior:

The Trump campaign is also calling on CBS to release the full transcript of this interview.

Most of her other recent media appearances have been with even more openly supportive outlets, as the New York Post reported:

Harris is gearing up for a softball tour, visiting the right-hating ladies of “The View,” Stephen “Dancing Vaccine Needle” Colbert and Howard Stern: all people ready to throw her a parade because she’s not the Bad Orange Man.

On Sunday, she was on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast, which is a place for celebrities to talk about copulation in such a tawdry way that it would make Samantha Jones blush. It’s where Katy Perry boasted of rewarding fiance Orlando Bloom with oral sex if he’s done housework, and Brazilian pop star Anitta and comedian Heather McMahan shared their fellatio tips. Christina Aguilera once referred to herself as a “promoter of the swallow” on the show.
