In Raleigh, North Carolina, as Biden received a briefing from FEMA, he was seen walking slowly to his chair, heavily reliant on aides who hovered closely around him. The scene, captured on video, has left many questioning his ability to handle ongoing national crises, especially after he abandoned his 2024 campaign and bowed out of the race for a second term.

Concerns over Biden’s cognitive decline are nothing new, but this episode has sent shockwaves across social media. As the nation grapples with recovering from one of the most devastating hurricanes in recent memory, Biden’s apparent mental struggles have become a focal point for critics. The president seemed visibly disoriented, raising fresh doubts about his capacity to effectively manage disaster relief efforts.
While Biden fumbled through the briefing, FEMA has yet to reach the hardest-hit areas in western North Carolina, where countless people remain stranded without food, water, or medical supplies. Instead, private charities have stepped in, doing the work that should fall under the federal government’s purview.
