How Will Israel Respond to Iran’s Attack?

On Tuesday, Iran rained at least 181 ballistic down on Israel. Thankfully, it appears that Israel’s defense systems kept the missiles at bay and the only reported fatality was a Palestinian man in the West Bank who was hit by shrapnel.

The White House had warned earlier in the day that an attack was coming, suggesting any such hostilities would “carry severe consequences for Iran.”

Also, two gunmen opened fire at a light rail train station in Jaffa in an apparent terrorist attack just before the missile launch, killing at least eight people.

Iran’s barrage came as Israel began limited ground operations against the terrorist group Hezbollah in Lebanon. Recently, Israel took out Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, as well as killing and maiming thousands of the group’s members through exploding pagers.

The attack was not completely unexpected. On Monday, a political correspondent for Israel’s Channel 14 laid out “Six Indications That Israel Is Soon to Attack Iran.”

How will Israel’s respond? Is the Jewish state planning to settle all accounts with the various terrorist groups and supporting nations that have so viciously targeted them before the first anniversary of Hamas’s massacre of 1,200 Israeli civilians last Oct. 7?

We pray for the safety and security of Israel, along with the safety of the American forces in the region.

What a Day

The possibility of all-out war in the Middle East is but one of the heavy things going on right now, as author Katie Pavlich pointed out yesterday.

Just today we have:

-A dock strike not seen in 40+ years that could cripple the economy
-Katrina level devastation in a number of southern U.S. states
-War raging and a stalemate between Russia/Ukraine
-Hundreds of missile launches from Iran

Meanwhile, President Joe Biden will be visiting North Carolina today to take in the destruction wreaked by Hurricane Helene. After attending a meeting at the emergency command center in Raleigh, he’ll do a flyover of the impacted areas. While he will be accused of pulling a President George W. Bush, who got hammered for only flying over New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina hit the city hard in 2005, the fact is that with so many North Carolina roads and bridges flooded or wiped out, that’s the best option. (Of course, he could have done a flyover Saturday or Sunday, rather than staying at the beach for the weekend).

The president is planning to visit hard-hit Georgia and Florida soon as well.

America Last

The private efforts to aid the citizens of western North Carolina and other areas Helene has ravaged are a wonder to see, even as we grieve the loss of life and awful destruction.

One goal, obviously, is to get power restored as quickly as possible. However, a conservative independent journalist going by the handle Amuse has a story that won’t amuse anyone. According to him, the nation’s stockpile of electrical transformers and switch gear, kept in the ready for disasters such as this, is greatly depleted because the Biden-Harris administration has been sending it to Ukraine.

The Federalist also reminds us that over the last two years, FEMA has siphoned more than a billion dollars from disaster relief funds earmarked for “Shelter and Services Programs” to — as the FEMA website states — “provide humanitarian services to noncitizen migrants following their release by the Department of Homeland Security.”

The federal government has been busy in other ways the past couple of days as well. The feds announced it will soon be releasing $336 million in new humanitarian aid. For western North Carolina, you ask? No. To Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza.

The feds also announced a gift of $567 million in military support. To help clear out and rebuild areas hit by Helene, you ask? No. For Taiwan.

But don’t worry. Kamala Harris’s “New Way Forward” website states she’s seeking $570 billion in additional funding … for defending Ukraine.

The Marxist

Unfortunately, Harris is not saying these things in a university classroom full of gullible students. This is the current vice president of the United States and Democratic presidential candidate. Ms. Harris, America is not in the business of ensuring equal outcomes; it is in the business of providing equal opportunity. Or did you not learn that in your “middle class” upbringing?

Harris Losing Latino Voters Because They Want to Be White?

Kamala Harris is hemorrhaging Latino voters. A new NBC News/Telemundo/CNBC national poll shows Donald Trump is currently capturing 40% of the Hispanic vote. While that’s still 16 points behind Harris, Democrats had a 33-point advantage in this demographic in 2020 and 38 points in 2016.

Why is Trump gaining? Is it the havoc created by illegal immigration? Rampaging crime? Inflation? Distaste for the Democrats’ radical abortion and transgender agenda? Is Harris just that dislikable? Or do they just like the red MAGA hats?

According to NPR’s Maria Hinojosa, it’s none of those things. In committing the kind of racism that used to destroy media careers, Hinojosa said Sunday on MSNBC, “Latinos want to be white. They want to be with the cool kids.”

Sure, Latinos tell Hinojosa they like Trump because he’s a good businessman. But “It’s like, no he’s not,” she said. (Really? Set aside the international real estate portfolio for a moment and recall that Trump made hundreds of millions of dollars just for telling people “You’re fired!” on a reality TV show.) Instead, she claims they want to be grouped with white billionaire so they’re not lumped in with “those other immigrants that Donald Trump speaks so badly about.”

Media Research Center’s Brent Baker is disgusted by those comments, telling the Washington Examiner:

Hinojosa reflects the very worst of identity politics. Vote only for liberal Democrats — or you are a race traitor. The fact a solid majority of Hispanics support Kamala Harris isn’t good enough for Hinojosa. Every Latino who dares stray from the party line must be shunned because such betrayal could cost the Democrat the election.

Biden-Harris Deporting 74% Fewer Immigrants with Criminal Records Despite Huge Increase in Illegal Immigration

The White House tried dismissing last week’s shocking report that 13,099 illegal immigrants who’ve been convicted of murder have been caught, identified, and released into our country. They say that number covers many administrations, not just the Biden-Harris one.

However, what they can’t dismiss is data obtained by Daily Mail showing that under Biden-Harris, the number of criminal illegal aliens the feds have deported has dropped a staggering 74%, even as 10.3 million illegals have been let in under Harris’s open border.

According to the report, “Only 134,617 convicted criminal aliens were removed over the past three fiscal years.”
