Vice President Kamala Harris doesn’t want former President Donald Trump to ignore her challenge to a second debate and will use one of the most anticipated college football games of the year to remind him.

The Harris team will fly a banner over the Georgia-Alabama matchup Saturday night that declares “Trump’s Punting on 2nd Debate.”

Last week, Ms. Harris agreed to a second debate, this time Oct. 23 on CNN. Mr. Trump has said no, arguing it’s too late because voting has already started in some states.

She’s not letting up. CNN reported that for those not in attendance at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, they can still see the vice president challenge her opponent to one last debate before the Nov. 5 election.

The Harris campaign plans to run an ad during ABC’s coverage of the game, doubling down on her aerial message.

“Winners never back down from a challenge,” the narrator in the ad says. “Champions know it’s anytime, anyplace. But losers, they whine and waffle and take their ball home.”

The game between the Southeastern Conference heavyweights will likely be one of the most watched college games of the year. Georgia’s viewership is particularly crucial since recent polling shows Mr. Trump holding a narrow lead over Ms. Harris.

This isn’t the first time Ms. Harris has tried to piggyback campaign messaging during big sporting events. Earlier this month, her campaign flew anti-Trump banners over college games in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

The campaign also bought ads during baseball, football and soccer coverage in Arizona, Nevada and Pennsylvania to coincide with Hispanic Heritage Month.

Previously, Mr. Trump said he agreed to three debates with Ms. Harris throughout September but has since shifted course. He argued that he resoundingly won the Sept. 17 debate and Ms. Harris wants a rematch only because she lost.

Further, the vice president refused to debate Sept. 4 on Fox.
