Trump launched his TikTok account on Saturday night while attending UFC 302 and has gained nearly 6 million followers in the six days the account has been active. Biden’s campaign, on the other hand, has seen dismal numbers in comparison since the launch of the account in February. 

As of Friday evening, Trump’s account has over 5.89 million followers. The Biden campaign on the other hand, has just over 366,000. One X account started a live stream early in the week tracking the followers each account has received, noting the discrepancy between the two accounts. 

Trump’s first TikTok featured UFC President Dana White introducing Trump saying, "The president is now on TikTok." The video included a montage of Trump entering the New Jersey event Saturday evening, greeting fans. 

While Trump’s account quickly skyrocketed in followers between the first few hours of its activation and Friday, gaining millions, the Biden campaign’s account has gained just over 360,000. 

The Biden campaign’s first post on the account saw the president being asked by a younger person a series of questions about his preferences for who would win the Super Bowl, whether he was looking forward to watching the game or halftime and the commercials, whether he preferred Travis or Jason Kelce, and whether he "rigged" the season so the Chiefs would win the super bowl, cutting to an image of the "Dark Brandon" meme and saying he would "get in trouble" if he said anything. 

The Biden campaign’s first TikTok video received 885,100 likes and his comment section had many taking issue with him and his policies, while Trump’s has received over 6.2 million likes and had his comment section had many supporters. Notably, Trump still has just one video on his account as of Friday evening while the Biden campaign has dozens.
