In an effort to silence critics that allege she’s making up her previous work history, Presidential nominee Kamala Harris picked up a shift at a local McDonald’s today, sources confirmed. 

“Kamala, what the hell are you doing back there?” asked Harris’ 19-year-old manager Rodney, during yesterday’s lunch rush. “I need fries, and I need them now! I thought you said you’ve done this before!”

Harris, who insisted that she worked at the popular fast food chain during her college years, seemed disoriented and confused, more so than usual in fact. 

“I just waited 10 minutes for my McNuggets,” said Linda Grace, who used the drive-thru while Harris worked. “And before that, the lady on the speaker rambled on and on about absolute nonsense when I merely asked what kind of sauces they had. They need to fire her, I don’t think she’s not McDonald’s material.” 

As of press time, Harris had asked for a bathroom break and ditched her shift just 90 minutes into it.
