The leader of Belarus warned World War 3 will break out - if NATO attacked his country or Russia.

Alexander Lukashenko threatened to use nuclear weapons against NATO despite Belarus not having any.

However, since last year, the nation has hosted Russian tactical warheads, on behalf of close ally Vladimir Putin.

Lukashenko made his sinister threats while speaking in Minsk, saying “World War Three” would be unleashed if NATO troops entered his country, according to Belarus news agency Belta.

Speaking at an event with students, he said: “As I said at the patriotic forum, an attack against Belarus will trigger World War III. Recently, Vladimir Putin has confirmed it, having amended the nuclear doctrine. An attack on Russia and Belarus will trigger a nuclear response.

“If we use nuclear weapons, they will do the same. And against Russia too. So Russia will use the entire arsenal of weapons.

“This will be a world war. The West does not want this. They are not ready for it. We tell them openly: the red line is the state border. You step on it, we will respond immediately. We are preparing for this.”

Lukashenko is a huge advocate of Putin and he has allowed the despot's men to attack Kyiv from staging posts in Belarus.

The use of nuclear warfare has been feared ever since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022. And this was fuelled further after Putin recently said Russia was widening rules for nuclear weapon use.

He made the terrifying comments after Ukraine was granted permission to launch strikes at Russian targets using long-range missiles.
