One of the most amazing facts about the Harris campaign is that its candidate is the worst in recent history, but the campaign itself is extraordinarily good at creating illusions. 

It's Hollywood, baby!

Of course, this only works as well as it does with the cooperation of almost every institution in America, who are all in on their version of the Truman Show. Just as the MSM, corporate media, politicians, and our government class pretended that Joe Biden was sharp as a tack when it was obvious that he wasn't, they are now amplifying hoaxes and lies in order to create the illusion that Kamala Harris is running a campaign that generates excitement and promises a greater future for America.

Harris, who has spent a career undermining law enforcement, bailing rioters and murderers out of jail, and pushing to "reimagine" policing by defunding the system, is claiming to have snagged an endorsement from a "leading law enforcement organization." 

As you likely know, Trump got the National Fraternal Order of Police endorsement--for obvious reasons--and the chances that a "leading law enforcement organization" would back Harris hover near zero. So what happened here?

It is, to put it kindly, a fiction. To put it bluntly, a hoax. The organization was formed for this purpose and no other, and barely has any members. "Dozens" was the vague number that was put out. 

The single most astroturfed Presidential campaign in modern U.S. history.

The stunning endorsement that “normally backs Trump?”

They are referring to the Police Leaders for Community Safety, which was founded in March of THIS YEAR.

What makes this a hoax and not simply a sleight of hands is this: members of the media pretended that this organization had a history and that it would "normally" endorse Trump. 

"Normally?" It was formed with no intention but to endorse the Democrat presidential candidate. And something that has no history also has no "normal" to compare it to. 

In other words, media figures conspired to echo Harris' lies to create a false reality.

Stories came out promoting Harris' "stunning" endorsement from "Police Leaders for Community Safety." It's not just an endorsement, but a "stunning endorsement." It's like a Drudge siren of old--pay attention folks! It is STUNNING!

This is an insane example of media propaganda on full display.

This is how it works, folks. The Harris campaign coordinates with an astroturfed group, and the mainstream media pushes out a hoax that the police are all lining up behind Harris, dropping their previous support for Trump.

We expect political campaigns to engage in puffery and politicians to spin and even lie. But we used to be able to expect the mainstream media to push back, at least a little bit, against the lies. And, most importantly, to reject the hoaxes. 

That time is GONE. The MSM is 100% on board with PUSHING hoaxes. The Steele Dossier got the New York Times and Washington Post a Pulitzer Prize. The "fine people" hoax has been a staple of Democrat talking points for years. Project 2025 and a Trump national abortion ban are both floating out there with media support. 

It's all lies, and the media is a partner with the Democrats. They are two sides of the same coin.
