President Trump “Being Hunted by Professionals”, Communications Compromised, Says Former Secret Service Agent

With concern over President Trump’s safety reaching a fevered pitch, and at least two known attempts on his life in the recent rearview mirror, former Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino — who has been floated as a potential Head of the Secret Service in a Trump second term — is sounding the alarm.

According to Bongino, President Trump is being “hunted by professionals” — and tracking with a press release just put out by the Trump Communication’s Director — it gets worse.

According to Bongino, who served as a member of the Presidential Protection Division during the second term of G.W. Bush and Obama’s first term, “professionals” are currently at work “hunting Trump” — and what is more, he is concerned that the internal secret communications of the Secret Service may be compromised in some way.  Here’s a clip of Bongino talking about his concerns yesterday.

According to Bongino, someone (presumably within the circles of protective services) has confided in him that the communications within the Secret Service are likely compromised.

Bongino’s assessment seems to track, with even President Trump’s own Communications Directory just putting out a press release stating that Trump has been briefed on “real and specific” threats about Iran’s alleged effort to kill President Trump, as being reported by Fox News:

Former President Trump was briefed Tuesday about “real and specific threats” from Iran to assassinate the Republican presidential candidate, according to his campaign.

Iran’s aim to assassinate Trump is part of the Islamic Republic’s efforts to “destabilize and sow chaos in the United States,” Trump Campaign Communications Director Steven Cheung said in a press release.

“Make no mistake, the terror regime in Iran loves the weakness of Kamala Harris, and is terrified of the strength and resolve of President Trump. He will let nothing stop him or get in his way to fight for the American people and to Make America Great Again.”

It doesn’t go unnoticed by me that as I write this, news is breaking that the U.S. Senate has UNANIMOUSLY passed the bill which the House also unanimously passed, bolstering the Secret Service protection of all Presidential candidates.

That was the news when the House passed the bill, and here is just a short time ago as the Senate, also, unanimously approved the bill.

Here is my question — what do they know that they didn’t know weeks ago?  What has suddenly caused the U.S. House and Senate to UNANIMOUSLY vote in a Bill that raises the Secret Service protection afforded to all Presidential candidates to be equal to that of a sitting President?  Had that action been taken weeks ago, I wouldn’t have the same red flags that it gives me now, with whispers of assassination teams, compromised comms, and moles getting louder by the day.

Watch this clip in which Bongino replays a portion of Jack Posobiec’s discussion with Congressman Matt Gaetz a few days ago.  Bongino breaks down the information that Matt Gaetz highlighted about the threat to President Trump.

One of the biggest concerns I have about this is that Bongino sounds as if he has reason to believe the FBI knows more about these threats and possible communication holes, and are actively keeping it secret.  That, coupled with the sudden UNANIMOUS vote in the Senate on ANOTHER bill to presumably raise Secret Service protection for all Presidential candidates smells very suspicious to me in it’s alignment.

Is everyone who knows anything simply engaging in a DC style “CYA” operation, because they know this isn’t finished?  Here’s reporting that has come out of Fox News in the past couple of hours about this new bill to increase protection to the Presidential candidates:

In the weeks following the nearly back-to-back assassination attempts against former President Donald Trump, the Senate unanimously passed bipartisan legislation that would boost Secret Service protection to major presidential candidates.

Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) and Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) introduced the Protect Our President Act, which will enhance U.S. Secret Service (USSS) protection for presidential nominees to the same level currently provided for a sitting president. However, a nominee is free to decline this.

It would additionally extend that presidential-level protection to vice presidential nominees, in this case to Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, and Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minn.

Additionally, the bill would require regular reporting from the Secret Service to leaders of the House and Senate on the status of candidates’ protection.

The regular reporting would mandate that the agency provide a report of the nominee’s protection every 15 days during a presidential election year.

Such reports would include threat levels, security measures, costs, amount of personnel assigned and any needs that are unmet.

The report would also include the threat level for each presidential nominee, the security measures being implemented, associated costs, the number of personnel permanently assigned to each protective detail, and any unmet security needs.

I want to bring your attention back to the clip Bongino replayed that I showed earlier, with Matt Gaetz.  Did you catch the part where Gaetz said a Homeland Security official informed him that there were five teams currently operating in the U.S. (not lone gunmen… TEAMS), 2 of which were domestic, and 3 of which represented foreign operations — all intending on assassinating President Trump.  Gaetz said that was BEFORE the second attempt at the golf course!

Here’s a clip from just a few hours ago of Rep. Gaetz discussing the threat, which he has repeatedly spoken of lately, in more detail:

What Rep. Gaetz said at the end of that clip, while sickening… is probably the less dangerous scenario of the possibly realities currently on the table regarding what is really going on with the continuing threat(S) to President Trump.  Again, we are back at the simple question: are these repeated assassination attempts simply the result of DEI hiring and political leanings within the Secret Service, hoping to diminish the possibility that they would provide “Presidential” optics for Trump to appear authoritative and important by doing their job?  (It is ridiculous to say that is the LESS dangerous option!)

Or… as I am afraid may be true… is there a far more insidious pattern that connects these repeated attempts beyond simple negligence, as Bongino seems convinced of?  A pattern in which the consistent unprofessional behaviors and decision-making matrix of those responsible for protecting America’s leaders has simply been a reliable tool for those “professionals” that people like Gaetz and Bongino are warning us about?

Let’s take one quick glance at a CNN report just out, covering the Senate’s unanimous vote:

Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy of Connecticut chose not to object, though he noted that he doesn’t believe it changes the way that the Secret Service assesses threats.

“Let’s move ahead with this bill,” Murphy said. “I don’t think it actually solves the problem; let’s pass the additional money so that they have everything they need, the Secret Service, in order to get the job done, and then let’s sit down and have a broader conversation about why we have seen this spike in political violence, and what other ways Republicans and Democrats can come together.”

As I said already, and as it sounds to me like Senator Chris Murphy is saying, while this bill isn’t a bad move… if the problems are systemic within the security apparatus designed to protect President Trump and other U.S. leaders — then this does nothing but throw money at a problem without getting to the root of the problem.

If there are “professional teams” at work, actively attempting to assassinate President Trump, then this spending bill does nothing except allow Congress the ability to claim “we did all we could”, if God forbid one of these teams succeeds.  I want what American deserve, and what President Trump deserves — true accountability, and a reckoning for what has been allowed to date.

Unfortunately, that is very unlikely to happen unless and until President Trump actually becomes President once again.  Until then, prayer may actually be our best hope, all things considered.
