The latest Kamala Harris border horror? Kids as young as 8 being drugged and trafficked into the United States by criminals posing as their parents. 

Worse: Thanks to the vast scale of the illegal invasion, no one knows how common this obscene practice is. 

In recent weeks, law enforcement has saved kids from two separate such schemes; one vile group of traffickers even had birth certificates for multiple kids to whom they weren’t related. 

The schemes exploit the insane policy of admitting “family units” en masse: That is, adults can get in quickly if they’re “with their children.” 

Customs and Border Protection sources tell The Post they’ve seen a pattern emerge as kids they’ve already admitted reappear, but with different “families” — a perverted recycling that places the lives of the young at grave risk. 

Often the kids are drugged to keep them quiet during the intake process, an added risk in itself.

And once these traffickers get across the border, what happens to these kids? 

Their fate is unknown — which is beyond horrific. As one CBP employee put it, “I hate thinking about it because there were thousands of kids and who knows where they all ended up.”

And it’s not just harming kids used as camouflage, either: As of May, some 291,000 migrant children who came in unaccompanied by any adult have been released to “sponsors” without any provision for a later court appearance. Now the feds have no real way of keeping tabs on them. 

So the next time a Democrat starts whining that letting in millions upon millions of illegal immigrants is a matter of “being a decent person,” remember that this is what it actually means. 

And remember that the current Dem nominee for president, Harris, is a chief architect of this atrocity.
