Electric vehicles are plagued with a growing list of problems.

Now one awful reality about them is coming to light.  

And Joe Biden was speechless over this terrible truth about the danger of electric vehicles.

Bidenmobiles are more dangerous for pedestrians than gasoline-powered cars

President Joe Biden vowed that electric vehicles (EVs) were the future of the auto industry.

A new study found that Bidenmobiles are more dangerous for the public than their gasoline-powered counterparts.

The Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health published a new study that claims pedestrians are twice as likely to be hit by an EV or a hybrid than a gasoline or diesel-powered vehicle.

Using data from 2013 through 2017, researchers at the British publication studied 32 billion miles driven by electric vehicles and hybrids and three trillion miles traveled by gasoline and diesel vehicles to make their claim.

The average yearly casualty rate for electric vehicles and hybrids was 5.16 for pedestrians compared to 2.40 for their gasoline and diesel counterparts.

“More pedestrians are injured in Great Britain by petrol and diesel cars than by electric cars, but compared with petrol and diesel cars, electric cars pose a greater risk to pedestrians and the risk is greater in urban environments,” the researchers stated.

Electric vehicles have no engine noise, which makes it harder for pedestrians to hear them coming, especially in urban areas with lots of background noise.

Electric vehicles are more dangerous in crash crashes

Electric vehicles are far heavier than conventional gasoline-powered cars because of the massive batteries it takes to power them.

The GMC Hummer EV clocks in at 9,000 pounds, a bit more than the more than 8,100 pounds of the Ford F-350.

A Hummer battery weighs around 2,900 pounds, more than the weight of a subcompact car like the Nissan Versa.

Like all heavier vehicles, such as trucks and SUVs, while the added weight makes the vehicles safer for drivers and passengers, some fear they’re more deadly for other road users.

Biden National Transportation Safety Board chair Jennifer Homendy warned about the “unintended consequences” of Democrats’ electric vehicle mandates during a speech last year.

“I’m concerned about the increased risk of severe injury and death for all road users from heavier curb weights and increasing size, power, and performance of vehicles on our roads, including electric vehicles,” Homendy said.

Homendy was happy that the Biden regime planned to eliminate gasoline-powered vehicles but fretted about the dangers that came with it.

“We have to be careful that we aren’t also creating unintended consequences: More death on our roads,” Homendy added.

Center for Auto Safety Executive Director Michael Brooks said that simple physics made electric vehicles more dangerous.

“These bigger, heavier batteries are going to cause more damage,” Brooks said. “It’s a simple matter of mass and speed.”

He added that there would likely be more deaths and injuries on the road because of the weight of batteries.

Joe Biden wants to force Democrats’ environmental extremist electric vehicle mandates on the country.

But in doing so, he and his fellow Democrats are ignoring the reality that may create.
