Monday was not a suspected thief’s day.

That’s because the 33-year-old stole a Miami Beach Corvette, got trapped and could not get out.

In the end, Ravesh Rabindranauth also got arrested.

The suspected thief thought he would be able to be freed by a passerby. But the passerby, who ended up being the car’s owner, was having none of that, per Local 10 out of South Florida.

“My brother, this is not your car, this is my car,” Julio Solano said.

“Can I get out?” Rabindranauth asked as he was recorded on Solano’s cellphone.

“No, you can’t get out. We’re calling the cops,” Solano said.

Solano said could not believe when he returned to a parking garage after breakfast and found Rabindranauth inside asking for help, Local 10 reported.

Rabindranauth was arrested by Miami Beach police and charged with one count of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance.

As of Tuesday, he was in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in lieu of $2,500 bond.

Solano theorized that Rabindranauth broke into the vehicle, but could not start it or get out because of the car’s security system.

“The car’s electrical components don’t function without the keys, and fortunately, he didn’t know about the manual door release under the seat,” Solano said.
