At a rally in Wisconsin last week, former President Donald Trump outlined his policy agenda for a potential second term, which includes plans to abolish the federal Department of Education and modify the 25th Amendment, specifically regarding President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Trump announced his plans during a rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin. The Washington Times reported that, according to national polling averages, the former president currently trails Harris in the state, though other surveys say he’s leading.

In justifying plans to seek a modification of the amendment, Trump and Republicans accused the Biden-Harris administration and the vice president of concealing the president’s condition before he withdrew from the race following a disastrous June debate showing.

“I will support modifying the 25th Amendment to make clear that if a vice president lies or engages in a conspiracy to cover up the incapacity of the president of the United States, if you do that with a cover-up of the president of the United States, its grounds for impeachment immediately and removal from office, because that’s what they did,” Trump said of his nine-point plan.

In further criticism of Biden, the former president vowed to implement reforms aimed at curbing foreign influence peddling, bribery, and corruption—issues central to the House GOP’s impeachment inquiry against the current commander-in-chief.

He also repeated an earlier pledge to dismantle the Department of Education, an agency that has been a Republican target since the Reagan administration, telling supporters that he would “stop abuse of your taxpayer dollars to indoctrinate America’s youth with all sorts of things that you don’t want to have.” He vowed: “We will ultimately eliminate the Federal Department of Education and send education back to Wisconsin and back to the states.”

Trump also vowed to cut ten regulations for every new one introduced and, following a recommendation from tech billionaire Elon Musk, proposed creating a “Government Efficiency Commission” to audit the federal government.

Speculation has arisen about whether Trump might appoint Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who recently suspended his presidential campaign and endorsed Trump, to a Cabinet position. Although no specific role has been defined, Trump mentioned that Kennedy would play a significant role in a proposed panel of experts tasked with investigating the causes of rising chronic health issues and childhood diseases, the Times noted.

“Bobby’s going to be very much involved in that, we’re going to get him involved, because … that’s what he likes, that’s what he’s great at,” he said.

The former president also pledged to end the weaponization of government, protect free speech and “expel warmongers” from the country.

Speaking of Kennedy, a former staffer for the one-time Independent presidential candidate has launched a pro-Trump PAC to “Make America Healthy Again.”

“Three great causes drove me to enter this race in the first place,” RKF Jr. said last month when he endorsed Trump. “And these are the principle causes that persuaded me to leave the Democratic Party and run as an independent, and now to throw my support to President Trump.”

“President Trump has shown that he can stand up to the corporate interests that have poisoned our environment and compromised our health,” he said at a rally with the former president in Arizona. “He is the leader we need to take on the establishment and put America back on the path to health and freedom.”

“Trump is the only candidate who can break the stranglehold that corporate elites have on our government,” he said. “Together, we can restore the health and freedom of the American people.”

Jeff Hutt, the spokesman for the group, issued a press release describing the new PAC and its intentions.

“Our team, made up of former senior Kennedy campaign officials, is uniquely positioned to ensure that RFK Jr.’s supporters understand that his vision for a healthier, freer America will be best realized through electing President Trump,” he said. “We’re ready to bring this movement to every corner of the country.”
