Don Lemon just can’t help himself. The former CNN anchor has once again shown his true colors, reacting with utter disdain and mockery to Melania Trump’s heartfelt message about the attempted assassination of her husband, former President Donald Trump.

In a video released by Melania Trump, she emotionally described the horror and distress she felt when a deranged shooter took aim at her husband during a rally. With raw emotion, she demanded answers about the security failures that nearly cost the former president his life, stating, “There is definitely more to this story and we need to uncover the truth.”

Instead of showing any basic human decency, Don Lemon decided to publicly ridicule Melania’s heartfelt plea. In a now-deleted reaction video, Lemon was seen rolling his eyes and making faces as Melania recounted the terrifying ordeal. As she described the assassination attempt as a “horrible and distressing experience,” Lemon disgustingly waved his hands in the air, shaking his head in complete disapproval. His dismissive gestures made it clear he didn’t care about the fact that her husband was almost murdered.

This is who Don Lemon is—mean, nasty, and full of hatred. It’s no surprise he deleted the video after a huge backlash, but the damage was already done. Once again, Lemon has shown the world how low the Left has sunk in the past two decades. No respect, no decency—just bitterness and mockery.

Melania’s comments referred to the multiple security failures on the day of the assassination attempt. The shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, had been spotted beforehand with a drone and rangefinder near the rally site—clear red flags that were ignored by law enforcement. Shockingly, Crooks managed to secure a vantage point on a rooftop and fired shots at President Trump, without the Secret Service intercepting him. Following public outrage over these glaring security lapses, Kimberly Cheatle, the Director of the Secret Service, resigned in disgrace.

Melania Trump’s video comes ahead of her upcoming memoir, set to release on October 1, titled Melania. The book promises to tell “the powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has defined personal excellence, overcome adversity, and carved her own path.”

While Melania continues to show strength and courage, the Left, embodied by Don Lemon, continues to sink lower and lower.
