A Secret Service agent was robbed at gunpoint over the weekend while President Biden was in Los Angeles attending a star-studded fundraiser, according to local police.

The agent fired his weapon at the thief at the Tustin Fields residential community at about 9:30 pm local time, the Tustin Police Department said in a statement on Monday.

A bag belonging to the agent was stolen, according to police.

The incident is under investigation and it is unknown whether the suspect was injured by the agent’s gunfire.
