Despite the fact that she has a binder filled with pre-written answers to handpicked, pre-submitted questions, Karine Jean-Pierre has been a bumbling mess as Press Secretary.
Even Democrats have come to the realization she’s a serious political liability.
And Karine Jean-Pierre turned red with rage after Democrats’ awful plot against her was exposed.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is clearly in over her head trying to defend President Joe Biden.
She reads straight from her briefing book, gives canned answers, and ducks tough questions.
But Jean-Pierre is Democrats’ identity politics dream hire as the first immigrant, black lesbian to serve as White House Press Secretary.
Angst has been growing over her performance on the job from inside the Biden regime and the Democrat Party National Security Spokesman John Kirby has been spending more time in press briefings, essentially, holding Jean-Pierre’s hand and even doing the job for her.
White House plotted to get rid of Jean-Pierre
The New York Post broke a bombshell story that high-level Biden White House officials secretly plotted to oust Jean-Pierre as Press Secretary.
“Top aides to President Biden secretly hatched a plan this past fall to replace White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre by recruiting outside allies to nudge her out the door,” the Post reported.
Biden Senior Advisor Anita Dunn reached out to top Democrats to begin a pressure campaign to convince Jean-Pierre to step aside.
Dunn and others in the White House believe she’s failing to provide an adequate defense of Biden and his policies heading into a hotly contested election.
A source told the outlet that Dunn had the support of Biden Chief of Staff Jeff Zients in trying to oust Jean-Pierre.
“There was an effort to have some outside folks who Karine knows and trusts talk to her about why leaving last fall would have made a lot of sense for her and her career,” the source told the Post, characterizing it as an “effort to encourage her to move along.”
Zients and Dunn had people try to explain to her why it would be a good career move to leave the White House.
The elephant in the room was Jean-Pierre’s ranking on Democrats’ identity politics scorecard.
“There’s a huge diversity issue and they’re afraid of what folks are going to say,” the source said.
Jean-Pierre has been steadfast in saying that she’s staying on the job through the election.
“I think Karine has decided to stay come hell or high water and that’s that,” the source stated.
White House staff thinks Jean-Pierre is a disaster
White House sources told the Post that Jean-Pierre isn’t quick enough on her feet and has to lean into her notes too heavily to do the job.
“Karine doesn’t have an understanding of the issues and she reads the book [binder] word-for-word,” the source said. “She doesn’t have a grasp of the issues and doesn’t spend the time to learn.”
And Jean-Pierre has convinced herself that she’s doing a great job.
“There’s an enormous amount of work that goes into getting ready,” the source said. “And consistently she does not put in that level of work.”
Karine Jean-Pierre has been a disaster of epic proportions, and she’s even lost the support of many of her White House colleagues.
