Viewers found it ironic that Eric Trump would boast about his father’s stamina after reports of the elder Trump falling asleep in court have circulated.

Eric Trump talked about his father, former President Donald Trump, with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News Sunday. He raved about Donald Trump’s energy, per HuffPost.

“His stamina, Maria, I’ve never seen anything like it in my life,” he told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday. “I’ve just never seen it.”

Donald Trump is currently on trial in the hushed money case in New York. Courtroom observers have said he has fallen asleep during proceedings.

But Eric Trump said those sleepy times are proof of his stamina, HuffPost reported. He added his dad often does events after court lets out.

“The guy is really a remarkable human being and I love him to death and I’m proud of him and I think the whole world knows his backbone and his toughness,” Eric Trump said.

But many went to X, formerly Twitter, to rebut Eric Trump’s statements.
