(Hoboken, N.J.) Former GOP presidential candidate and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie spoke passionately recently about how he managed to down all but one of a bag of 20 White Castle burgers.

“I had my sights set on that last one, I really thought I had room for it, but in the end, I just couldn’t eat it. I wanted to, mind you, I really love those little burgers, but I just couldn’t hold any more,” Christie recalled. “You know that feeling you get when your eyes are bigger than your stomach? Well, that doesn’t happen much with me, but it did that time, and in the end, I gotta say, I’m really glad I didn’t stuff that last one in my gut. I think that would have been a bad deal!”

Christie wouldn’t say if he has had any White Castle burgers since then, but he did say he gets “a hankering for them” quite often.
